Welcome to the Cool Food Café.

We are proud as punch of the Cool Food Cafe’s beautiful, light-filled space at BLOC in Auckland’s Mount Eden. It’s great to cohabitate with likeminded, design-led retailers to create a welcoming place for discerning (and peckish) shoppers.

It’s where we serve our ‘full noise’ Cool Food menu. We make everything in the cabinet and on our menu.

Meanwhile, our friendly front-liners are all about creating your drinks and making sure you have a wonderful time. We rather hope you’ll pop in for a visit or two.

Hiding away in the upstairs lounge of the ever-stylish Bloc store, Cool Food café got the huskies squee-ing (yes, that’s a word) over the modern furniture and stylish décor and yes, the coffee in the air may have induced some pre-lunch hype as well. We had to round ourselves up and sit down before we bought everything in the store – typography prints, vintage cushions and sexy stationery to boot.

This is my favourite cafe in Auckland! Always GREAT food and friendly service, and in a great location. Last week I had the Texas sandwich and cinnamon brioche and they were both DELICIOUS! I am never disappointed when I visit Cool Food!

This delicious catering company is a perfect fit for the clean yet colourful design space that is BLOC. Everything here is crisp and white, but there are surprising bursts of primary colour that make it feel happier and more approachable than you might think on first glance. This cafe is self service, but it’s not like any self service cafe you’ve experienced before. Everything here has been made fresh that day using excellent ingredients, and with your health and well-being in mind.
